Hi friend, Patrick here.
As Unknown Arts continues to evolve, I want to share an update on where we’re headed. Starting this Sunday, you’ll notice a new rhythm in your inbox, designed to bring more clarity and purpose to each send. You’ll now receive Unknown Arts twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays (Pacific Time).
Here’s how this fits into the bigger journey.
For over a decade, I’ve been working at the intersection of creativity and technology, navigating emerging tools and learning how to put them to their best use. AI has been part of my workflow for a while, but until recently, I hadn’t had the headspace to dive in fully. Now, after a year of recovery and experimentation, I’m committing to explore these technologies deeply—not as shortcuts to creative success, but as new mediums to support creative expression. I’m excited to jump in, learn, and share that journey with you.
Each Sunday, you'll receive The Dispatch: a structured newsletter reflecting on key ideas I encountered while exploring new tech that week. It's my way of embodying the spirit of Unknown Arts—venturing into the unknown and reporting back with insights for my fellow explorers. I'll dig into what these technologies mean for creative professionals and how we can use them to unlock new possibilities.
On Wednesdays, I'll bring you The Midweek Muse: a series of short, timeless reflections on the principles that shape our creative lives. Inspired by the style of my writing heroes Seth Godin and Derek Sivers, these essays will offer practical insights and inspiration you can carry with you, regardless of the current state of technology.
For those looking for hands-on resources, I’ll also be publishing tutorials and guides on the website. I’ll be creating a lot in the next few months, but to respect your inbox, I’ll highlight these resources in The Dispatch rather than send them separately. From prompting patterns to toolchains to behind-the-scenes workflow tips, these resources will help you experiment and explore in your own work.
To recap: starting this week, you’ll see Unknown Arts in your inbox twice a week—balancing cutting-edge exploration with timeless reflections. I’m excited to share this journey with you and bring more focus to how this new technological wave can support a true creative renaissance.
Warmly,
Patrick
