I would consider how you might build systems to power your freelance work and ask questions like:
- What patterns do you notice yourself repeating from client to client?
- Could you package that knowledge into assets that serve as a foundation for jumping-off more quickly with the next customer?
- Are there existing external resources you could pull from to build that base?
I do this to support my own personal projects and freelance work. I've built libraries to capture decisions about brand, imagery, UI, etc... and use them as a starter kit for basically everything I do.
I'm a freelancer Product Designer, how does this apply in my scenario?? I'm paid to execute but I'm scared that I won't be growing creatively.
